America's Largest Urban Grower's Conference

Cultivating Black Agriculture

The Future of Black Agriculture

Since 2010, the annual Black Farmers & Urban Gardeners (BUGs) National Conference has reimagined Black futures via the advocacy of food and farm issues. For more than a decade, our team has helped Americans reclaim life through food sovereignty and justice while organizing the country's largest conference dedicated to Black Agriculture.

Our Conference

BUGs is committed to building a strong community to support growers who cultivate in both urban and rural settings. We nurture Black leadership while honoring the joys and the sores of land-based stewardship.

Partnerships

Additional programming, networking, and educational activities are some of the many ways partners can engage members of our community. Our conference-goers participate in BUGs-related programming year-round.
